Please test this and report remaining bugs before the final version.

To make sure everything works smoothly this Friday, we decided to release a beta2 package now. Please download and test it till Friday to ensure that it works out!
Get BETA2 here!
Please reset your previous cvs/beta1 settings:
- Open up the main menu by pressing ESC
- Go to SETTINGS
- Go to RESET ALL SETTINGS
- Tick the box and then click apply
To make the masterserver query work, you have to add this argument to your startscript:
-mmasterserver094.cubers.net/

Yeah, this announcement is a bit late. From the amount of you guys I saw playing it, most people know about the beta. However, in case any of you don't frequent the AC forum, the 1.0 beta has been released and the developers are looking for feedback. Check out this forum discussion to download it. Make sure to file bug reports for any problems you encounter and get in any requests for new features. Let's make 1.0 an awesome, stable release!

Just to let all members know, we have joined the ESL AssaultCube League. We will be participating in a ctf tournament soon and need you to sign up on the website. Just go to the website (http://www.esl.eu/eu/team/3586245/), register an account, click Join Team, and enter in the password that is listed in the private forums. I hope to see everyone registered in the upcoming days!

We have a new BC Main server up! us1.beyondcompare.org & main.beyondcompare.org point to it (207.210.74.76). Our old BC Main server is now us2.beyondcompare.org, it currently is still up but will be moving location later this week. Our new server now runs on a 100mb upstream and will be able to host multiple servers. We are looking forward to the release of 1.0. And as always we have a CVS servers up and running on both servers. US1 and US2.

BC Main now has a dns entry. You can now connect to "us1.beyondcompare.org" to get to BC Main.
