BC Servers Now on AC Ladder

The seven BC servers are now providing statistics for the TyD AC 1.0 Ladder. These statistics will be added to the ladder daily.

The ladder helps to act as a ranking system for players, providing certain amounts of points for each action that is done while playing AssaultCube on certain servers. The original AC 0.93 Ladder was created by Acfan, member of the TearYouDown! clan. Unfortunately, the server running this Ladder crashed, and hasn't been back since. KanslozeClown's has created a new Ladder which now contains scores from the TyD and BC servers.

v1.0 Released!

After over a year of development AssaultCube v1.0 is now finally released! A lot of effort has been put into making this game even more fun. The new version comes with a whole lot of new features and improvements in all areas. The underlying engine, originally Cube1, has been enhanced in many ways and is pushed to its max. Not only the game and engine have matured, the whole artwork from the community like maps, textures, models and sounds give the game a brand new look and feel.

New AC 1.0 beta has been released (Beta 2)

To make sure everything works smoothly this Friday, we decided to release a beta2 package now. Please download and test it till Friday to ensure that it works out!
Get BETA2 here!
Please reset your previous cvs/beta1 settings:
  1. Open up the main menu by pressing ESC
  2. Go to SETTINGS
  3. Go to RESET ALL SETTINGS
  4. Tick the box and then click apply

To make the masterserver query work, you have to add this argument to your startscript:
-mmasterserver094.cubers.net/

AssaultCube 1.0 Beta released for testing

Yeah, this announcement is a bit late. From the amount of you guys I saw playing it, most people know about the beta. However, in case any of you don't frequent the AC forum, the 1.0 beta has been released and the developers are looking for feedback. Check out this forum discussion to download it. Make sure to file bug reports for any problems you encounter and get in any requests for new features. Let's make 1.0 an awesome, stable release! Again, here's the link

AssaultCube ESL League

Just to let all members know, we have joined the ESL AssaultCube League.  We will be participating in a ctf tournament soon and need you to sign up on the website.

Just go to the website (http://www.esl.eu/eu/team/3586245/), register an account, click Join Team, and enter in the password that is listed in the private forums.
